  • Danish Children Book Published in Serbia

    Supported by the Danish Arts Foundation and the Embassy of Denmark, Kreativni centar publishing house published a Danish children's book "The Incredible Story of the Giant Pear" by Jakob Martin Strid.

  • BUDI Children Festival Officially Closed

    After a month-long calendar of various activities attended by thousands of participants, the BUDI festival in a Serbian town of Pančevo was officially closed on June 11th. This year, Denmark was a host country and the Embassy was happy to support the Festival with participation, movies, exhibitions and publishing of a children book.

    The four Nordic embassies in Belgrade - Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish - jointly organized a conference 'Public Procurement - the Nordic Experience' at the Residence of the Finnish Ambassador in Belgrade, on May 30th.

    Together with the City of Podgorica, the Embassy of Denmark organized a 'Smart City and Urban Solutions' Conference on Wednesday, June 6th.

  • Days of Denmark Opened in Sabac

    Together with the Mayor of the City of Šabac, Mr. Nebojša Zelenović, Ambassador Hougård opened a series of events marking 'The Days of Denmark in Šabac'.

  • Anniversary of Maglaj Attack Marked on June 1

    The Danish honorary consul in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirza Durmišević, attended a memorial service on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the attack on the unarmed UN emergency convoy where two representatives of the Danish Emergency Management Agency and their interpreter sadly lost their lives, while additional number of Danes were wounded.

  • Days of Denmark in Sabac

    From May 31st, the Embassy of Denmark and the City of Šabac will organize the Days of Denmark, with a series of events.

  • High-level Meeting in Ilulissat Greenland

    Anders Samuelsen, Denmark’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Vivian Motzfeldt, Greenland’s Minister for Education, Culture, Church and Foreign Affairs, will host a high-level meeting on 22-23 May 2018 on the occasion of the 10-year anniversary of the Ilulissat Declaration. The purpose of the meeting is to affirm the support of the Arctic States to the principles of the declaration and to discuss the joint efforts for a peaceful and productive cooperation.
