Cluster Day provided discussion about the LEDIB Programme impact on the SMEs development in Southern Serbia
and business development enhancement through cooperation between science and practice supported by the public sector.

The Local Economic Development in the Balkans (LEDIB) was a 15 mil DKK large-scale programme under the Danish Neighbourhood programme
initiated to support the promotion of growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in southern Serbia.

Based in the city of Niš LEDIB became a well-known brand during 2007-2012 due to its massive provision of technical assistance
and support to small and medium-sized companies as well as to public institutions.

Until the end of September 2016. LEDIB approved projects worth of 259,8 million RSD for 360 SMEs.

In addition to the round table and discussion, Head of the Mission Mr. Morten Skovgaard Hansen gave a lecture on State of green – the Danish way
at the University of Niš Faculty of Economics and opened the European Film Festival in Niš.
