  • Danish Architecture in Serbia - Thousands Reached

    With the great support of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Danish Ministry for Culture, the Embassy implemented an exhaustive promotion of Danish architecture in Serbia in May 2019.

    In the beautiful mountain of Zlatibor, 7th Biannual Danish-Serbian District Heating Days took place on April 23 and 24, organized by DBDH and Association of District Heating Plants of Serbia. 

  • Danish Performance at SONEMUS Festival in Sarajevo

    Supported by the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces, the Danish composer, performer and sound-artist Simon Steen-Andersen performed at the SONEMUS Festival in Sarajevo on Tuesday, April 16th.

  • We Opened the Second LEGO Store in Belgrade

    Invited by the LEGO team representatives in Hungary, Danish Ambassador to Belgrade, Anders Hougård, opened the second LEGO flagship store in Belgrade.

  • Denmark increases its contribution to UN Environment in 2019

    It is a priority for the Danish government to ensure an effective international environmental cooperation. UN assesses that especially on the environmental part of the Sustainable Development Goals there is a lack of progress. Therefore, the Danish government has chosen to increase its contribution to UN Environment in 2019.

  • Embassy Closing Days in April and May

    The Embassy will be closed from April 19th to 22nd due to Danish Easter holidays, and from April 26th to 29th due to Serbian Easter holidays. Additionally, the Embassy will be closed on May 1st and 2nd due to the Labour Day in Serbia. Only emergency consular cases will be handled on Tuesday, April 30th and on Friday, May 3rd. The Embassy will be also be closed on May 7th and 8th due to Staff Away Day.

    After his November visit to Belgrade and Skopje, Danish Foreign Minister reflected on it in his February interview for CorD magazine.

Danish Business Club meets with Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government

Today our Danish Business Club met Ms Ana Brnabić, the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government. The minister explained about current reforms including e-government and there was a good dialogue about business environment and opportunities. The Danish Business Club is a business network for Danish companies active in the Serbian market.
