Constitution Day

From the 5.-7. June Denmark celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the amendment of the Danish Constitution. The 1915-Constitution gave Danish women the right to vote and stand for election.                                                                                                       Gender equality has since become a fundamental value in Denmark and the rest of Scandinavia.

Danish-based NGO’s such as Kvinfo are currently supporting women’s rights globally.      Read more at:
