Work and Residence Permit Applications Handled by the Embassy Until Further Notice

Due to the current restrictions , VFS is temporarily closed and will not be taking in applications for work and residence permits. Instead you can make an appointment at the Danish Embassy.  Reception of visa applications has been temporary suspended. Only the applications with urgent purposes can apply for visa at the embassy. We have not suspended the reception of applications for work or residence permits (except for Working Holiday visas - However, VFS has closed their visa application centers due to the corona virus outspread, and therefore the Embassy will be receiving R/W applications. If you are applying for a residence or work permit at the Embassy, please be aware of the following:

a.    Pay the Embassy fee on

b.    Hand in the relevant documentation based on the type of residence/work permit applied for

c.    Hand in your passport (which is valid for a minimum of at least three months after the intended date of departure from the Schengen area; contains two blank pages and has been issued within the previous 10 years)

d.    Have your biometrics (photo and fingerprints) captured
