DAYS OF CONTEMPORARY DANISH CINEMA IN BELGRADE!

The Embassy of Denmark proudly presents the Days of Contemporary Danish Cinema!

On the occasion of the Centenary of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Denmark, we have partnered with the Danish Film Institute and Belgrade Cultural Centre to bring you the latest pearls of the Danish Cinema.

Contemporary Danish cinema has been enjoying international acclaims via realist depictions of everyday situations and people.

Brave and very often provocative, Danish cinema has risen to fame thanks to the works of Lars Von Trier and Susanne Bier, acting of Mads Mikkelsen and Trine Dyrholm through to Danish TV series such as ‘Borgen’ and ‘The Killing’.
