The Embassy of Denmark proudly presents the Days of Contemporary Danish Cinema!

On the occasion of the Centenary of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Denmark, we have partnered with the Danish Film Institute and Belgrade Cultural Centre to bring you the latest pearls of the Danish Cinema.

Contemporary Danish cinema has been enjoying international acclaims via realist depictions of everyday situations and people.

Brave and very often provocative, Danish cinema has risen to fame thanks to the works of Lars Von Trier and Susanne Bier, acting of Mads Mikkelsen and Trine Dyrholm through to Danish TV series such as ‘Borgen’ and ‘The Killing’.

For more information, feel free to download the official program and the movie synopsis.

The event will take place from April 20 to 24th at the premises of the Belgrade Cultural Centre.

We are pleased to announce that a Danish choir - Vokalkompagniet - will visit Serbia from April 8 to 14.

They will visit several towns in Serbia, but the peak of their visit will be a performance in Mikser House on April 10, in cooperation with the Belgrade City Choir (Gradski hor).

The entrance to the concert is free - everyone is welcome!
