''THE KINGDOM OF DENMARK - FROM COPENHAGEN TO THE ARCTIC''

An exhibition organized by the Danish Embassy in Belgrade and the Belgrade Fortress was open to the public eye on Kalemegdan until the 6th of November.

The exhibition was made out of two parts, one being “Copenhagen Solutions” and the other “Our Arctic Future”. The exhibition showed how much Danes, Greenlanders and Faroese loved their Kingdom, and how they tried to take good care of it. From smart city solutions developed by Danish companies, through fast growing Copenhagen to sustainable exploration and resource utilization in Greenland, the Faroe Islands and the Arctic. Throughout this year, the Embassy in Belgrade hosted numerous culture projects – from films to exhibitions.

The exhibition “Our Arctic Future” was produced by the Natural History Museum of Denmark in for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark in close collaboration with the Governments of Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

The Embassy thanks Novo Nordisk, Grundfos and NIRAS, Danish companies actively operating in Serbia, for their contribution, both with organising this exhibition and their general support and cooperation with the Embassy.
