Visa

Serbian citizens – holders of a biometric passport do not need a visa to travel to Denmark and other Schengen countries and can stay there maximum 90 days in the period of 180 days. From 13 October 2024, the same applies for the holders of passports issued by the Coordination Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia.

As of 1st November 2019 all applications for Visa and Work/Residence permits to Denmark should be submitted at the Visa Application Centre, VFS Global in Belgrade.

Visit VFS's website for more information.

Please be aware that the case processing will take place at the Embassy of Denmark in London. However, for inquiries please refer to the VFS centre where you handed in your application.

Iceland

Denmark is representing Iceland regarding visa matters. As Iceland is part of the Schengen cooperation, Serbian citizens with biometric passports do not need a visa for Iceland. Holders of passports issued by the Coordination Directorate still need a visa.

For information on how to apply for a residence permit for Iceland please visit the homepage of the Icelandic Directorate of Immigration.

Children below 18

When a child below the age of 18 years is travelling abroad without its parents, the custody holder(s) must make a written consent (verified by a Serbian court) that the child may travel abroad alone. In case an under-aged child is travelling with one of the parents/custody holders, the other parent/custody holder must give the written consent (verified by a Serbian court).
